These products are currently not available.
What you need to know up front
- You have to be at least 18.
- Your parent or relative has to be under 60 at application and employed.
- You can put the title to the property in just your name and in your parent's name
as well.
- The maximum mortgage term is 35 years or the normal retirement age of the child
buying the property, whichever is sooner.
- It's not restricted to first time buyers. You can also be divorced, separated borrowers
or moving to a more expensive area.
- If you're borrowing more than 95% of the purchase price, your parent must own their
home outright or have had a mortgage for three years.
- You don't have to take out life cover but we recommend you take financial advice.
- It's not available in Northern Ireland. Sorry.
